This notice applies to our business-to-business outreach by email and telephone. For information about how we handle data from visitors to devseccops.ai, including contact form submissions and cookies, please see our Privacy Policy.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether our interests are outweighed by your rights and freedoms, and we aim to contact only people whose professional role is relevant to the services we offer. You have the right to object at any time (see section 9).

5. Email and telephone marketing

05/14

Email. We send business outreach emails to corporate email addresses. Every marketing email includes a link to this notice and a simple way to opt out. If you reply STOP or REMOVE, we will stop sending you marketing emails and add you to our suppression list. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails to individual subscribers, such as sole traders and some partnerships, without their consent.

Telephone. We make business-to-business calls in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). We identify ourselves and our company at the start of each call, and stop calling you if you ask us to.

6. How we share your data

06/14

We do not sell your personal data. However, to conduct our business operations and manage our relationship with you, we transfer your personal data to trusted third-party service providers who process data on our behalf. This includes:

  • Cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, such as Zoho CRM, to store and manage contact data, communication history and sales pipelines.
  • Email and telemarketing delivery providers, used to facilitate our business outreach.

All our third-party processors are bound by contractual data protection agreements (Data Processing Addendums) to help ensure that your information is protected in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the UK GDPR.

We may also disclose personal data where required by law, or to our professional advisers where necessary.

7. International transfers

07/14

Our CRM and some of our systems store data outside the United Kingdom, including in India. Where we transfer your personal data outside the UK, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the Data Processing Addendum we have in place with the relevant provider. You can contact us for more information about these safeguards.

8. How long we keep your data

08/14

We keep business contact data for 24 months after our last meaningful interaction with you, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep it for the duration of our relationship and for 8 years afterwards for legal and accounting purposes. If you opt out of marketing, we keep a minimal record (such as your email address) on our suppression list so we can honour your request.

9. Your rights

09/14

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data erased in certain circumstances
  • Restrict how we use your data in certain circumstances
  • Object to our use of your data, including a right to object at any time to direct marketing

To exercise any of these rights, email us at contactus@devseccops.ai. We will respond within one month.
