Livwell- AWS Managed Service Case

Customer Background

LivWell Asia is a technology-driven InsurTech and wellness company founded in 2020, focused on combining insurance, health, wellness, and technology to create simpler and more engaging protection solutions. As the platform expanded, the customer required a scalable cloud platform capable of supporting containerized applications, secure networking, modern DevOps practices, AI workloads, and continuous operational support.

DevSecOps.ai partnered with LivWell to modernize the existing EC2-based infrastructure into a cloud-native Amazon EKS platform and continues to provide ongoing AWS Managed Services to ensure platform reliability, security, and operational excellence.

Business Challenges

Prior to the engagement, LivWell faced several operational challenges:

  • EC2-based application deployments requiring manual operational effort.
  • Limited deployment automation.
  • Inconsistent monitoring and observability.
  • Security and network architecture requiring review and improvement.
  • Lack of centralized CI/CD processes.
  • Need for secure VPN connectivity across multiple environments.
  • Requirement to support AI-powered workloads using Amazon Bedrock.
  • Requirement to onboard workloads across India and Vietnam regions.

Initial Modernization Project

DevSecOps.ai successfully delivered the following modernization activities:

  • Modernized workloads from Amazon EC2 to Amazon EKS.

  • Established separate Production and Non-Production EKS clusters.

  • Designed secure AWS networking with VPN connectivity.

  • Implemented GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline for CI/CD automation.

  • Configured Amazon CloudWatch and AWS CloudTrail for observability.

  • Integrated Amazon Bedrock for GenAI workloads.

  • Built infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.

  • Established standardized deployment pipelines.

This modernization established the foundation for an ongoing AWS Managed Services engagement.
